Just finished reading this wonderful retelling of the Samson story. Brilliantly imagined with a real authentic feeling for place and time, it remains true to the biblical account while at the same time brining alive the history behind the story. Fun, blood and guts gory with plenty of spice too. If you remember the story from long ago I urge you to borrow or order this fresh look at Samson and Delilah. I really enjoyed it and it made me want to go and read the original too. You can find the original in the Old Testament part of the Bible in a book called "Judges". It's Chapters 13 to 16.
