I watched the DVD Helvetica again this week and this time also watched through all the extras. It's only when you watch the additional material (95 mins) that you realise what a brilliant job Gary Hustwit did on the main film. How can 80 mins about a typeface possibly be interesting? But it's more than this, it's utterly compelling and bears repeated watching. It is very skilfully edited into a fascinating historical and cultural story.
